London-based bags and accessories brand Ally Capellino has collaborated with tokyobike to create three cycle-friendly backpacks.

Based on the signature ‘Frances’ style and priced at £145, each has a proofed nylon exterior, reflective trip and loop for a cycle light. Colours available include grey, yellow and blue.

To celebrate the launch, Ally Capellino is hosting an event on the 23rd March at its Marylebone store.

The collection will be available from Ally Capellino’s three London shops – in Portobello and Shoreditch as well as Marylebone – and website, and tokyobike London, New York and Tokyo.

tokyobike is a small, independent bicycle company founded in 2002 in the quiet Tokyo suburb of Yanaka. The name was derived from the design of the bikes – “in the same way the mountain bike was designed for the mountains so tokyobike was designed for Tokyo.”

Ally Capellino was founded by Alison Lloyd and designs “for men and women who like their design to come without dictates.” Quintessentially British in outlook and known for transcending trends, the brand has collaborated with Apple and London’s Ace Hotel.

Ally Capellino x tokyobike products will be available to buy as of the 23rd of March
