They days of clean cut Parisian beauty are over as Alice Dellal takes to centre stage as the face of Chanel’s latest ‘Boy’ handbag, with Karl Lagerfeld behind the lens.
Set in a regal manor, Alice brings her trademark punk princess edge to the classic brand, with deep gothic make-up, ripped tights and undercut locks, reflecting the unconventional feel of Chanel’s newest it bag. Pictured lounging around on decadent antique furniture, dressed in a mish-mash of conservative Chanel twin sets and fishnet body stockings, the campaign strikes the perfect balance between glamorous and rebellious.
As the daughter of Brazilian born model Andrea Dellal and sister of Charlotte Dellal, the force behind Charlotte Olympia shoes, fashion seems to flow through Alice’s blood, so it’s no suprise to see her land a huge campaign like this at the young age of 24.
Chanel’s boy bag comes in a series of different shades and textures, from the classic quilted Chanel version to the clean and minimal white boxy bag, all complete with the trademark double Cs.
