British tailor Hawes & Curtis has created a concept outfit inspired by the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, designed to be the first all-weather, high performance suit.

The suit is made from Italian wool with a water resistant finish and a mesh lining to regulate body temperature, ideally suited for the British climate. The all weather concept is inspired by the D.N.A driving mode in the car, which allows drivers to adapt the driving capability to suit different kinds of weather.

The styling of the suit takes inspiration from the new Giulietta design features including a honeycomb grille print tie, bespoke print on the sleeve lining, carbon fibre buttons, and red contrast stitching. There is also a matching women’s shirt mirroring the fluid lines of the car with red contrast stitching, collar lining, and metallic buttons.

Hawes & Curtis designed the concept suit to showcase the balance of innovation and fashionable design that is the cornerstone for both brands.

Kate Regan, designer for Hawes & Curtis, said about the collaboration: “The limited edition pieces are inspired by the Giulietta’s refined design features and performance. Beautiful details such as the fluid lines of the car and the characteristic red highlights along the interior upholstery are echoed in the garments. I designed the items having in mind the corporate professionals who appreciate sleek design, attention to detail and impeccable quality.”
