Last night LDNfashion had a very retro night out with the stunning Dita Von Teese, attending a cocktail masterclass with the curvacious star at the new Cointreau Privé bar in London.
The secretive underground speakeasy has the classic aesthetic of a thirties jazz club, with lamp lit tables, a quilted bar front and a gathered satin ceilings decorated with glittering chandeliers. A short chat with a very jet lagged Dita revealed that the entertainment space was designed by her best friend, using the burlesque star’s bedroom as inspiration.
Wearing a delicate D&G dress, back seam stockings and, of course, a pair of black ruffled Louboutins, Dita played the perfect brand ambassador, telling the small crowd about Cointreau’s colourful history and how it blends perfectly into some of today’s modern cocktails.
We even got to have our photo with the 39-year-old (yes, really!) beauty. We can now die happy.
The Cointreau Privé co-designed by Dita Von Teese opens in London on 29th November for three weeks at 215 Piccadilly. The Cointreau Privé is guestlist only – to book a place go to www.cointreauprive.co.uk.
