Read on more to find out their London loves, and look no further than their Instagram page for some serious outfit inspiration / envy.

Favourite neighbourhood:

Alice: I love North London. It’s so vibrant and diverse – great markets, parks, restaurants and shops all mixed together.

Hannah: I live in Islington and I love it. There are so many nice places to eat and drink and its a pretty central location to get into other areas I love like Covent Garden or over to Shoreditch.

Favourite place for brunch:

A: York and Albany on Parkway Camden is a real treat brunch. It’s sandwiched between Regents Park and Camden Market where you can have a lovely walk afterwards.

H: The Breakfast Club in Angel. Great food and good size portions, its just such a shame that there is always a queue to get in as it’s so good!

Best coffee in London:

A: I recently discovered a tiny coffee shop called Ground Control on Amwell Street, Islington. They roast their own Ethiopian coffee beans and have a gorgeous selection of fresh cakes.

H: Salvino is a family-run Italian deli next to our boutique and keeps us caffeine-fuelled!

Favourite gallery or museum:

A: The Geffrye Museum is really interesting with interiors and textiles from lots of different periods.

H: I love the contrast of the grand historical architecture at The British Museum with the modern graphic glass ceiling inside. The shadows it creates get me every time I go.

Favourite building:

A: I love St Paul’s Cathedral. It’s so beautiful inside and out, especially if you go after sunset when its all candle lit inside. If you climb the stairs all the way to the top you get the best view in London.

H: It’s not a building (!) but the water fountains at Granary Square are my current favourite London feature. I can sit for hours watching the dancing water displays and the noise of the running water is surprisingly relaxing.

Favourite place to shop:

A: Spitalfields Market on a Thursday is a great place to find interesting antique treasures and while away a good few hours.

H: Liberty has to be one of my favourite London places to shop (or browse!). It always has a great selection of designers and I could spend hours in there looking around, particularly in the shoe department.

Favourite place to find inspiration:

A: The V&A is a great place for inspiration but really it’s all around when you live in a city like London.

H: I love people watching so I am a big fan of grabbing a coffee and seeing what people are wearing, somewhere like Columbia Road flower market on a Sunday morning. Street style is always inspiring to me.

Best London destination for a date:

A: The Gilbert Scott cocktail bar in the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is perfect for a date and they do amazing Gin Martinis and salt & pepper popcorn!

H: Bob Bob Ricard as it is like stepping back into the 1930s and I adore all the gold everywhere. It’s deliciously decadent.

Favourite park:

A: The Kenwood House grounds are the perfect mix of wild forest and giant stretching lawns – perfect in all seasons.

H: Clissold Park as it has everything you need during long summer days and is great when you have a baby.

Favourite food market:

A: Borough Market is great but you need to get there early before the crowds.  My girls are obsessed with the fresh orange juice there.

H: I try to head up to Broadway Market regularly especially for the stall with the twice-baked banana bread.

Your sanctuary in the city:

A: Our design studio is a bit of a creative sanctuary for me. We have filled it with inspiration, books, fabrics, photos and embroideries that we have collected over the years.

H: New River Walk is a hidden spot in Islington that is the perfect hide out from the hustle bustle of inner city living. You would never think that there was a beautiful little green space where it is and is so peaceful to stroll through as it is always quiet and feels like you are in the middle of the countryside!

What inspires you?

H & A: Its hard to pin point one thing but generally nature, art, photography, travel, street style and social media in the past couple of years too, in particular Pinterest and Instagram.

This season I’m loving:

A: Dungarees, which I have been obsessed with since I was little but this season I’m wondering whether I should treat myself to a leather pair!

H: Pink! I’m actually a little obsessed so can add that to the list along with coral, nude and my beloved leopard print!
