Hampstead as I have a house nearby and it offers everything from a village feel, to good shops and plenty of places to eat out, with the added bonus of Hampstead Heath.
Favourite place for brunch:
Well it has to be Villandry in St James, or Harvey Nichols 5th floor as I love the unlimited Champagne at the weekends!
Best coffee in London:
Taylor St Baristas in Mayfair. The coffee there is definitely the best you can buy and it’s small and intimate and off the beaten track.
Favourite gallery or museum:
The V&A. I have been many times but my favourite exhibition so far has to be Alexander McQueen’s Savage beauty.
Tell us a secret:
Whilst I’m alone working I like singing to myself! I don’t think anyone else would appreciate it as I’m not very vocal!
Favourite place to shop:
It has to be Harvey Nichols for me. It is right next to my office, has everything to offer and also I love the fact that they offer personal shopping without charging you extra and that I can pop in to pick up any bits and bobs or go for a nice express lunch at any time.
Favourite place to find inspiration:
Outdoors looking at architecture, natural light, and the seaside.
Best London destination for a date:
I think the cozy and intimate Berners Tavern has to be a great date location, and aesthetically is lovely with the bonus of lovely food, however, sadly I don’t really date anymore!
St James’s Park, as I love the lake and the bridge across it. It is also a great spot to view Buckingham Palace.
Favourite food market:
Pimlico Road Farmers market, which has the best Dorset sausage baps and although I have a home in Dorset, they just taste so good here.
Your sanctuary in the city:
St John’s Lodge garden in Regents Park. It is away from the busy main park and if you go into the inner circle the lodge belongs to (I believe) the Sultan of Brunei but the garden itself is open to the public and it is really beautiful and peaceful.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by many people. Hard work, enthusiasm and energy from others makes me want to move forwards even more.
This season I’m loving:
As usual Tom Ford as he is always my favourite designer throughout, however I really love all the extra wide belts by Balmain.
