Top 10 Notting Hill Shops

With its rainbow of terraced houses and famous residents, Notting Hill has long been considered one of the most fashionable and sought-after areas of London, even before Hugh Grant made it famous in his film of the same name.

If you’re not lucky enough to have a few million pounds spare to buy a property here, it’s still a great area to wander and do some shopping at the area’s many designer stores and independent boutiques.

Here’s our guide to some of the best shops in Notting Hill:

1. Aimé

Designer boutique, Aimé, offers a curated collection from French designers including Isabel Marant, APC, and Forte Forte. If you’ve got kids, you’ll want to head next-door to Petite Amié, which stocks an equally adorable ranch of French fashion for babies and kids.

The shop was opened by French Cambodian sisters, Val and Vanda Heng-Vong as they could not find anywhere locally to shop their favourite European luxury labels. As well as clothing, the boutique also stocks a small range of jewellery, accessories, and homewares

32-34 Ledbury Road, Notting Hill, London W11 2AB
Open 10am – 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday

2. What Katy Did

A lingerie shop with a difference, What Katy Did specializes in 50’s pin-up style bras, corsets and stockings. Items are based on real vintage patterns and designed to be as close as possible to the original in terms of style and fabrics.

The shop is decorated like a ladies’ boudoir, with chandeliers and antique furniture and space to rest and enjoy a complimentary coffee. The friendly staff are also very attentive and will help you to find the perfect fit and help you get into that waist-cincher corset.
