St Pancras International is one of our favourite destinations in the capital, and we would argue one of the city’s most beautiful landmarks. Originally built in 1868, the station reopened to much excitement in 2007 and boasts more shops than any other railway station, as well as the longest champagne bar in Europe – we’ll drink to that!
The retail offering at St Pancras International continues to grow with a number of significant new store openings including food, tech and fashion. Ahead of a last-minute trip to Paris via the station’s Eurostar terminal, we popped down to check out the latest menswear openings and to pick up some of our must-haves from the current collections.
First on our wish list was the perfect jumper, ideal for both the forthcoming cooler months and Paris’ temperate climate. We headed into Whistles (the station is home to the flagship menswear store) where we picked up a cozy camel ribbed lambswool style – part of the brand’s AW15 offering. Unlike many station-based retailers, the St Pancras International Whistles store offers the brand’s largest collection of menswear in London, plus a full selection of womenswear too. Don’t miss it.
The blue shirt is one of the hardest working pieces in our wardrobe, and where better to choose a new style for a Paris trip than London shirt makers Thomas Pink. Easy to dress up or down and perfect for those in town for business meetings or interviews, we opted for the checked blue shirt part of the brand’s ‘Blues by Pink collection’. Check out the collection and accompanying video here.
For footwear Dune London was our destination of choice. The store is located in a long bare brick archway of the station, displaying the AW15 collection in style. With city walking high on our Paris to-do list, we opted for a pair of smart black leather trainers – comfortable, versatile and perfectly on-trend for the season.

Our visit was also the perfect excuse to try out the StP London app (available on Apple and Android platforms). It provides Londoners like us, day-trippers and tourists with exclusive retail offers, travel updates and historical information, as well as the inside scoop on in-station events. Download now via the Apple and Google Play app stores.
