There’s something so satisfying about having a good old rummage through a vintage store, and finding a real  gem for your wardrobe. Well we’ve done the hard work for you and hunted down London’s top 10 vintage clothing & fashion shops. There’s a mix of thrift stores offering bargain purchases, to more high end stores where you might just find a designer gown hiding amongst the rails. 1. Absolute Vintage, 15 Hanbury Street, London, E1 6QR

Be prepared to have a good rummage at this one, but it’s worth it for the vintage bargains and cabinet filled with Chanel bags.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Lucy in Disguise, 48 Lexington Street, London W1F 0LR

Step into the gold and glittering Lucy in Disguise. The brainchild of Lily Allen and Sister Sarah Owen that promises carefully sourced vintage loveliness, pick up a ‘20’s flapper dress and bob into the in-store hair salon to complete your look.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Old Hat, 66 Fulham High Street, London, SW6 3LQ

Stylists and designers from Burberry and Dunhill are said to frequent this men’s vintage boutique. If you can manage to fight them off you could discover vintage brogues or a Saville Row suit. Suits you!

An old furniture factory transformed into what can only be described as a vintage department store. You’d be mad to miss this off your must visit list.

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. POP Boutique, 6 Monmouth Street, London, WC2

It’s been going strong since 1996 and frequented by celebs occupying the nearby Covent Garden Hotel. Go here for great vintage clothing, furniture, vinyl and kitch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. East End Thrift Store, Watermans Building Assembly Passage, London, E1 4UT

Super cheap…most things priced at £10 and under.  The fill-a-bag-of–fun jumble sales are popular. Fill a medium bag to the brim for £10, or a large one for £20.
