Purveyors of the ultimate “slackerwear” Norwegian brand OnePiece has been unveiling its Christmas calendar treats day by day this December.
Fresh from Wednesday’s buy two get one free offer, this Thursday 11th December, One Piece is offering 20% off its ‘Traditions” collection – styles knitted with traditional Norwegian patterns.
Particularly special is the ‘The Marius’ pattern, it is one of the most famous intarsias and has a unique story behind it. OnePiece is licensed by Lillunn Design of Norway as the only clothing brand in the world allowed to offer the Marius® pattern on apparel. The Marius® pattern is named after the skier, war hero, fighter pilot, model and actor Marius Eriksen. It was worn for the slalom skiing in the Oslo Winter Olympics of 1952 and was the uniform for the Norwegian Skiing Team in the World Championship in Oslo in 1954. Basically, it’s a Norwegian icon and feels especially appropriate in the festive period.
